Google does not allow 9 types of content in its content feed offered with Google News and Google Discover. It can lead to manual penalties, if you violate these policies shared between Google News and Google Discover. These content policies are:
- Dangerous content:
Google has identified material that could damage people or animals in a significant and immediate way.
- Harassing content:
Google has found content that includes assault, intimidation, or threatening content. Google does not approve such content.
- Hateful content:
Google has found content that incites hate objectionable.
- Manipulated media:
Google has discovered audio, video, or image material that has been tampered with in order to cheat, defraud, or confuse people.
- Medical content:
Google has identified material that is intended to include commercial medical guidance, diagnosis, or care.
- Sexually explicit content:
Google has detected content that contains explicit sexual imagery or videos primarily intended to cause sexual arousal.
- Terrorist content:
Google has identified material that encourages terrorist or violent behaviour, such as recruiting, incitement to violence, or the celebration of terrorist attacks.
- Violence and gore content:
Content that incites or glorifies abuse has been found by Google. For the sake of disgusting some, Google does not approve excessively graphic or offensive content.
- Vulgar language and profanity:
Google has found content of gratuitous obscenities or profanities. Google doesn’t allow it.
